Our aim is to create a supportive community and to help equip youth with the skills they need to help each other.
Youth Net offers:
ø Facilitator training
ø Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (A.S.I.S.T)
ø Other workshops as available: Informed Trauma Helping Skills, Anger Management, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, CPR etc. These opportunities are open to YN Staff, YN facilitators, and volunteers, when affordable.

Our youth-friendly workshop affords skill building to any agency working with youth.
Youth Net Peel continues to grow in the community. Our program is a partnership made up of an Organizing Committee and a Youth Advisory Committee. The Organizing Committee members’ job is to share information, current research, and to guide the program. Youth Net also sits on an inter-agency committee: the Council on Adolescent Suicide Prevention in Peel (CASPP) and we are interested in sitting on another youth oriented organization. We have also secured a partnership with the Peel District School Board.
